Nollywood: Actress Stephanie Linus Takes Her Movie 'Dry' To Zambia.


Popular, award winning Nigerian Actress Stephanie Okereke, now known as Stephanie Linus after she got married to her beau in a lavish wedding.
Stephanie Linus who is one of Nollywood creative and talented actor is set to take her movie 'Dry' which won the overall best movie in Africa at the biggest Africa movie awards (AMVCA Awards) which is also referred as Africa's Oscars, across the world.

After two successful premiers in
Nigeria, Stephanie is taking her movie to Zambia today 9th April 2016, where the first lady of Zambia Esther Lungu  is expected to be a special guest of honour.

 Stephanie announced "  After two successful premiers in Lagos and Abuja, we are taking the overall best movie in Africa to Zambia. I am so excited, I can't wait to see all my fans in Zambia.
Supporting this cause is the first lady of Zambia, Esther Lungu, who will be the guest of honour at the premiere, I feel so honored to have her support. Many thanks to all the good people of Zambia who have helped, in planning this event.
With 'Dry' the focus is on fistula and child marriage, as well as underlying social issues, such as maternal health,poverty and inequality. Dry has a strong message and I feel so happy that my dream of taking it across the world is coming to pass".

The movie dry was first premiered in 2014. It focuses on fistula while narrating a story of a young girl at the age of 13, Halima was married off by her parents to Sani, a man of age 60, who rapes her, and finally impregnated her, she suffers 'VVF' during child delivery, abandoned and discriminated Halima meets Dr zara(Stephanie Linus).

Stephanie Linus has made impact in the Nigeria movie industry 'Nollywood'. Alongside other screen goddess such as Omonoli Oboli, Genevieve Nnaji, Uche Jumbo etc.
